Talent is distributed evenly, yet opportunity is not. Our mission is to identify, ignite and challenge gifted students in underserved communities across North Carolina, enabling them to redefine what’s possible.

We create inflection points: experiences that bend the arc of outcomes for their lives by accelerating Scholars’ growth. The Exponential Scholars program has 4 components:

1. Nurture intellectual vitality and confidence through rigorous academic enrichment

2. Develop emerging leaders

3. Offer tailored support to help families identity and access needed resources 

4. Provide financial support for supplemental opportunities

If successful, by 2025, Exponential Scholars will enroll 1,000 gifted students per year across the state – and make participation a life-changing inflection point for these youth, at no cost.

Launching in the 2025-26 school year, we kickoff with a founding cohort of 20-30 rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders in the Triangle area, then hone program features, and plan for scale.
